Hi all

One of my clients has asked me to sort out why, when a user closes the database, an Access window opens a few seconds later.

This is just the Access window, waiting for the user to select a file. It doesn't happen on the accdb or the accde on the development pc, but does happen on many (all?) Of my clients pcs.

Anyone one else seen this and found a solution?

Using Win 10 and Access 2016 32 bit

TIA.

Warm regards
Bernie

Hi Bernie. First thing to check, just to be safe, is Compact on Close set?

I had that happening recently on one accdb. It looked to me like the accdb was going corrupt and a commandline decompile resolved it.
