I have a combo box that is used to hold a list of attributes which reside in a table. Users select an attribute and press a button to add the item in the combo box to a list on the form. The item is then removed from the combo box since it's been applied to the list on the form.

The combo box is based upon a query and the requery method is called to update the list. I'm finding that after the requery, pressing the button again adds the same item to the list that was just added to the list. It's as if requery does not set the value of the combo box back to 0 or null (no item selected) even though no item is selected. it even adds the duplicate entry if the combo box becomes empty.

How do I tell the comb box to go back to the value of 0 or null after a requery?
